Why should I invite my friends and family to join Get your own RSS on Multiply
By inviting your friends and family and encouraging them to invite their friends and family, you'll eventually be connected with everyone in your social circle (your "network"). If someone invited you to join Multiply, you already know at least one person on the site, and maybe lots more. Go to your Contacts page and look for the name of the person who invited you. Click the headshot to view his contacts and see who else you might know on the site. If you find someone else you know, click their name and add that person as your contact.
Remember that you can make any of your posts as public or private as you like. You can display a photo album, for example, for just your family members, but they have to be your contacts first before we can recognize them as your family.
